(it's just... so... exploitable... petition to make this video the next meme on the block)
None of them were Faves(TM), thank god, otherwise I might have to question why I like them. It's one thing to see working musicians taking on Chris Thile's Live from Home challenge and posting videos of themselves performing in order to brighten the days of others and generate more content (and fill the hole that the lack of gigs has left behind). But it's another thing to have a bunch of random celebrities (many of whom I did not even recognize) sing a part of a song which has no bearing on the situation, all a cappella and in different keys (my poor EARS), intended as some kind of political/social statement I guess?? We didn't ask for that, and it does us nothing. Why don't you each record a line of the song WITH ACCOMPANIMENT IN A FIXED KEY and then release that as a charity single... I'd still critique the song choice but at least it might be HELPING people in NEED...
