1. I've been pretty hardcore anti-hypothetical Genesis reunion tour (with Peter Gabriel) for several years now, but as I was listening to The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway today, I realized that this album deserves to be heard in multiple theaters across the world, played start to finish, and the only band that can do it is the original lineup. I mean, I saw a Genesis tribute band, and it wasn't a pretty thing to hear. At least Peter Gabriel can actually sing like Peter Gabriel. I won't hold it against PG if he doesn't do this, because I will never understand why people think this is a thing he should be doing, but I certainly wouldn't complain if he did. The only thing related to a Genesis reunion that I specifically think he shouldn't be doing is dressing up as Rael, like he did on the original Lamb Lies Down tour, because not only is it racist (Rael is Puerto Rican and yes, that means PG wore brownface), but also because Rael didn't always wear a shirt, and I love you, Peter, but no one wants to see that. 2. I think I want to write a sequel to my Wayne's World fic, What Is and What Should Never Be, because the first one comforted me last year and now I have a premise that would be really comforting to write, but I need to finish my indulgent Cassandra Wong lovefest fic before I do that. I'm SO excited to start posting that one, oh my god.
