Sooooooo I'm gonna fill it out since I suck at titles and it will be interesting looking back on the ones I've settled for

Rules: Look at the titles of the last 20 fics you’ve posted and answer the following questions.
1. How many are you happy with?
Most of them. I only have quibbles with a few of them ("Dreadful Sorry" being way too obvious and pulled from thin air,
"The Promise" not really having anything to do with the fic at all and just being the name of a song I was listening to before I wrote it, "More to Life" being a placeholder title that got stuck as the actual title when I realized I could come up with nothing better).

2. How many are…not great?
The only one I really specifically don't care for is "More to Life," but that's not terrible, at least it's a line from the fic.

3. How many did you scramble for at the last minute?
"More to Life" is the epitome of that. Also "Finding the Plot" was sort of last minute, but I love how well it ended up fitting.

4. How many did you know before you started writing/creating, or near the beginning?
Most of the ones inspired by music- "I Never Asked to Be Your Mountain," "Dance Along the Edge," "Stay Away," also I pretty much knew "The Kid is Alright" would be called that the instant I considered writing it. But to have that happen is very rare

5. How many are quotes from songs or poems?
8 (one being a song I wrote, does that count?), technically 9 if you consider "Clementine" meaning the song and "The Kid is Alright" being a play on "The Kids Are Alright." Also "The Perfect Reminder" is a song title by Trashcan Sinatras, although that was unintentional (but I still thik "the pairfict reemainder" whenever I read that fic).

6. How many are other quotes?
None. Unless you count "More to Life," "Your Biggest Fan," "Six Words," and "Starting Now" being taken from a line in the fic.

7. Which best reflects the plot of the story/content of the fanwork?
Probably "Clementine," which is literally about the song "Clementine" and a character named "Clementine."

8. Which best reflects the theme of the story?
A lot of them do, but I'm partial to "Finding the Plot" because it's about Jack Marston deciding to become an author, therefore literally finding a plot, and it's also a play on "losing the plot-" he's recovering his identity and healing from trauma at the same time.

9. Which best reflects the character voice of the story/pov of the fanwork?
Hmmmm... probably "A Little Unsteady," since it's about Kate McReary feeling, well, a little unsteady throughout her life, and how Niko finally stabilizes her.

10. Which is your favourite title?
Probably "I Never Asked to Be Your Mountain," just because I love that phrase (and the song it's named after).
