between_time_and_42Songs I’d like to analyze on this blog at some point, when I have the time:
-“Giddy Giddy” by Sparks
-“As I Sit Down to Play the Organ at the Notre Dame Cathedral” by Sparks
-…dammit, there was another one I literally just thought of this morning that I thought “wouldn’t it be cool to interpret this song THIS way?” and I’m 90% certain it wasn’t a Sparks song… but I have no idea what it was. Dammit!
I would also like to eventually transfer my full-album analysis of Low by David Bowie over to this blog, but I feel like that might end up stretching across multiple entries… we’ll see.
EDIT: while I don’t think any of these were the song I was trying to think of, I would like to analyze these Bowie songs: “Strangers When We Meet,” “Quicksand,” “Fascination.” At least, I want to analyze the choruses from the first two because I thought they were both uplifting and then I saw other people say they were depressing (same with the song “Sound and Vision” that I’ve already analyzed, come to think of it…) Oh, and also, “Here Kitty” by Sparks- or maybe I just want to draw a comic for that song.
