between_time_and_42A family doesn’t have to be a wife, a husband, and two kids. Sometimes a family is a rebellious teenager, his PTSD-suffering mother, the alien rock star she hooked up with once, his pessimistic rock star boyfriend, an eccentric couple dedicated to improving the world through arts and education, their roller-skating-enthusiast daughter, and an assortment of orphaned or abandoned juvenile delinquents. And that’s okay.
(This reminds me that I need to draw the entire gang/family from WTC? hanging out, eventually. I have a lot of stuff in my head to draw and I’m working on the simplest ideas first, but I definitely want to draw an entire spread of the WTC? gang at a party or something.)
Also, on a related note, Part 2 of SF: ALS has become so long that I'm thinking of going ahead and editing the half of it that I've written and getting that posted, and then finishing the other half of it and posting that later. I know it's not urgent and I should take my time and just make sure it gets posted when I'm happy with it, but I'm also just so excited to share more of the story (especially since I've already gotten two kudos on it!).
