I know this is totally my anxious brain making something out of nothing, but I saw someone point out that in Punch Brothers' email from earlier this month, announcing their tour with Bela Fleck, they said "these will be the last Punch Brothers shows for quite some time," and

(I still have not 100% processed the loss of Live from Here, I can't lose my favorite band too)

Oh no!!! I really hope that's not what they meant, and that they just need some extended vacation or something like this. Here's hoping for the best!

I hope so! I do need to remember that all of them have solo projects, so maybe they're all going to work on solo stuff next year. (And maybe this is a sign that the musical that Chris Thile is writing might be about to get off the ground?? I'd happily take a year without Punch Brothers if it meant we get news about that...)
