So I couldn't find the last collection I made for the life of me, so here's a simple collection of all the fics I posted this year. I feel like I should be ashamed over some of these, but I have no shame anymore. If you enjoy mmy writing, have at it:
THIS IS SPINAL TAP
Together Looks Good When You’re Alone Looks Good When You’re Together. When the outbreak of a stomach virus disrupts the recording of Spinal Tap's latest comeback album, David St. Hubbins and Nigel Tufnel end up uncomfortably close to each other- as in, sharing a bed close. Eventually, they bridge the emotional distance as well. Rated T for some language. Word count: 23,819 (8 chapters). Pairings: David St. Hubbins/Jeanine Pettibone, eventual David St. Hubbins/Nigel Tufnel.

“Naval-Gazing.” Nigel’s never minded when David brings home women to their shared flat. But when David brings home a man, Nigel suddenly minds a lot. Rated T for sexual implications and alcohol consumption. Word count: 1,711. Pairings: one-sided Nigel Tufnel/David St. Hubbins.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/28907841
“A Private Show.” After the cancellation of a Spinal Tap show, Nigel overhears David and Jeanine in their hotel room taking out their frustration physically, which causes some frustration of his own. Rated E for explicit sexual situations. Word count: 1,676. Pairings: David St. Hubbins/Jeanine Pettibone, one-sided Nigel Tufnel/David St. Hubbins.

“Smashing Good Tunes.” The broadcast of a certain Saturday Night Live musical performance in early 2021 leaves Nigel and David aghast, and they discuss how to make Ms. Bridgers pay for it. Rated T for... I guess there’s some language... really it could probably be G, maybe, I just consider that category as being “a kid could read this” and I don’t really target my writing towards kids. Word count: 1,981. Pairings: none.

WAYNE’S WORLD
“Not to Get Technical.” Wayne Campbell & Garth Algar have gotten rather close, and Terry is wondering what to think about that- especially since Wayne claims he’s still going out with Cassandra. Written for Valentine’s Day 2021 (which is also Wayne’s World’s anniversary). Rated G. Word count: 972. Pairings: Wayne Campbell/Garth Algar/Cassandra Wong OT3.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/28841991
Welcome to the Jungle. Cassandra Wong’s band Crucial Taunt is on the road for the first time, but after breaking up with her boyfriend Wayne, Cassandra is feeling less than enthused. Spending time with a drummer from a fellow touring band begins to lift her spirits, but the nature of her feelings for said drummer causes a lot of confusion- not helped by constant misunderstandings, and the eventual reappearance of Wayne. Rated M for one sex scene in chapter 14, plus some light swearing, drinking, drug use, and a physical fight in chapter 7. Word count: 102,803 (19 chapters). Pairings: Cassandra Wong/OFC, OMC/OFC, OFC/OFC, eventual Wayne Campbell/Garth Algar at the very end (sorry for the spoilers).

“Wayne’s World: The Spinal Tap Interview.” Script fic, detailing an imaginary sketch where Aurora welcomes Britain’s loudest rock band. Rated T for... I dunno, it’s just what I rate most of my fics. I think there are some innuendos? Word count: 1,716. Pairings: none
https://archiveofourown.org/works/30857435
“When I’m With You.” At a high school dance, Wayne helps Garth loosen up. Rated G. Word count: 1,669. Pairings: Wayne Campbell/Garth Algar.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
“Like It Was Before.” Based on “The Nerds” from 70′s era SNL. Todd DeLamuca runs into a familiar face at his local bar. Rated T for Todd being... Todd (but he’s significantly toned down here than from canon because he’s no longer a hormone-addled teenager). Word count: 4,081. Pairings: Lisa Loopner/OMC, one-sided Todd DeLamuca/Lisa Loopner.

THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS
“Summer’s Ending.” Following the events of “Wayfarer’s All,” the Rat attempts to explain to the Mole just what was so alluring about the Sea Rat’s offer. Rated G. Word count: 1,548. Pairings: The Rat/The Mole (in a queerplatonic relationship, since I imagine the Rat is aromantic, but it can absolutely be read romantically if that’s how you like it).

ANNETTE
“In the Forest” (crappy title subject to change). During one of her nightly performances, Ann Defrasnoux meets “the authors.” Rated T even though there’s absolutely nothing objectionable, but the movie’s not meant for kids so I don’t consider this fic to be for kids either. Word count: 2,073. Pairings: none.

FIC RECS
The Price They Paid by CzechKris91. Grand Theft Auto IV fic, sequel to The Price We Pay (which I also highly recommend but I think I recommended it in my last fic round-up, whenever it was that I made that). After the harrowing events of The Price We Pay, Niko Bellic and Kate Mcreary are ready to settle down and have a normal life- but trouble begins to brew in Liberty City again, and now it looks like Niko’s criminal past will never leave him. This is still a work in progress, but it’s just as great as its predecessor (perhaps even darker and more intense) and I cannot WAIT to find out where the story goes. Also check out the same author’s “Blood Brothers,” which tackles the titular mission from GTA IV.

“Control” by lupiniity87. This is Spinal Tap fic. A study of the David/Nigel/Jeanine love triangle, and so good that it made me put aside the fic of my own that I was working on that dealt with the same subject, because how could anything I write ever live up to THAT? (In fact, I didn’t even finish reading this because I was so incensed at how much better it was than my writing, so I guess take this recommendation with a grain of salt because who knows, the ending could ruin the whole thing and I wouldn’t have known.)

“Dizzy” by skazka. Miller’s Crossing fic. Details the love life of Mink Llarouie, particularly his relationship with Eddie the Dane. I had to read this a couple times before everything clicked, but that’s the same way I felt about the movie, and now I love both.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/17696699
“In Another Life, When We Are Cats” by BE_papas. Inside Llewyn Davis fic. What if Llewyn met up with Johnny Five again after the events of canon? Okay, so, I know this is in Chinese and I don’t speak or read Chinese, but hear me out- if my Google Translated version is anywhere near accurate, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS I HAVE EVER READ. Plus it fills my burning desire for more Johnny Five/Llewyn Davis content, so... there you go.

I'm like 100% sure I already shared the vast majority of these, but I don't think I ever shared "Summer's Ending" or the completed version of Welcome to the Jungle, so there! Also "When I'm With You" and "In the Forest" are very new fics (I wrote one last week and the other yesterday), so I didn't get to share them until now. (Yes, I went there with Annette, and that was what was causing me so much anxiety yesterday. It's so weird- even just thinking about the movie now can do that to me. Also, I feel like I should be embarrassed that I essentially wrote furry fanfiction (if TWITW counts) but like. Mole and Rat are cute. And I love that story (especially the Cosgrove Hall TV series) so much.)
