between_time_and_42My best friend told me she wanted to see “the band that does ‘Johnny Delusional’” live, because I introduced her to that song and she loves it, but she’s about six years too late 😭😭
I know they’re never going to make another album together and I should just accept the fact buuuuuut I’m really just getting hung up on this because I was an idiot who saw they were playing near me and went “Noooo I don’t want to take an hour-long train ride to an unfamiliar city to see the best music released this year performed live!” (Although tbh it might have been in the middle of a school week or something, which is understandable why I didn’t want to do it.)
Well, my friend can see half of FFS if she wants… I guess it just depends on which half. And that’s all I’ll say about THAT. I also told her about Chris Thile’s mandolin skills and weird faces in an effort to convince her to come to the Punch Brothers concert with me, but I don’t think it made an impression.
