Feb. 16th, 2022 07:24 pmI quit tumblr for a bit to focus on Real Life, because I was wasting way too much time and energy mindlessly scrolling, but I have to say…
I really miss the Sparks fandom. Which is funny, because the other reason I quit was to get away from any potential tour spoilers. I am NOT about to be spoiled before I see them perform in March. But I really miss seeing Sparks content every day. I miss the people I follow and the joy they brought to me daily. Admittedly, I am in contact with a few outside of tumblr, but it’s not the same. I need pictures and videos and such in my life.
On a related note, I canNOT stop thinking about Ron Mael today. My secret favorite. (I hate playing favorites when it’s just two people in the band, but… I love him maybe just a teeny tiny bit more than Russell, do NOT tell Russell I said that.) I think I’ve said before though, I may be Team Ron but I actually don’t find him attractive most of the time, and the times that I do, so consider him to be more “striking to look at” than “person I want to [redacted],” buuuuut… I love HIM. Personality always meant more to me, anyway. (Russell is the eye candy of the band for me, and of course he also seems like a lovely person, but… Ron. Ron Ron Ron.)
Anyway, besides thinking a lot about Ron and Sparks today and wanting to go on tumblr and reblog a bunch of stuff, I also want to make note of some things to share on tumblr when I officially come back…
-People wear their age in their hands and I think that’s beautiful
-“Our first date was to celebrate our engagement” I’m sorry, WHAT
Can I elaborate? Yes. Will I elaborate? Not now.
Anyway. I just… I’m still thinking about Sparks. I love them. Sometimes I wish I could remove all knowledge of them from my brain so I can actually get things done without thinking of them all the time.
