So I kept thinking about this today and I think I've made up my mind. I may have bought the Annette soundtrack on vinyl for my father's birthday/Christmas, but that was only because I was trying to win a signed copy of the Annette soundtrack on vinyl for my dad and the special part about giving that as a gift would have been that 1. it was signed and 2. I won it, not that it was the Annette soundtrack on vinyl, really. I know he said he loved the film, but I don't know if that necessarily translates into "I would listen to the soundtrack multiple times." And besides, he let it slip that there's one thing he really wants that I can also totally get him as a gift and I think I'd rather get that because he specifically said he wanted it, therefore causing me a lot less anxiety. So...

That means I've decided to keep the Annette soundtrack as my own record, and maybe if I ever get tired of it I can pass it off to my dad. I'm not even sure if I'll listen to it that much, but I'm dying to hear "She's Out of This World!" on my turntable and that's good enough for me. Plus, I feel like it would pair EXTREMELY well with my Joanna Newsom record.

I'm probably going to wait a couple days and see if my feelings stay the same before unearthing the record from where I stored it in my closet, but anyway...

I now have Christmas gift ideas for my father, my two besties, and Sister C. I still need to think of what to get my mother and Sibling C. Hmmmmm.
