A few nights ago I was getting emotional about Gilda Radner again (what's new) and playing her album Live from New York on Spotify as I drove to my friend's house, and when I got there my friend said I looked really upset and that the mood of the room instantly dropped when I came in, and I just couldn't tell him it was because I was feeing sad that an actress I admire is dead. So it goes.
As I was pondering "what if Gilda had lived?" for the hundredth time, a thought popped into my head- what if she had hosted SNL in the 90's? Imagine her and Phil Hartman in a sketch together. That would be the most amazing sketch ever. (Talk about a celebrity whose death makes me sad, too...) Also, I would have really liked to see her character Rhonda Weiss and Mike Meyers' character Linda Richman in a sketch. They could be cousins or something.
