Things I don't get: sometimes people ask "what episode should I start with?" when getting into a show for the first time. Or they say they started watching in the middle or something. Why... not... start... with the pilot? And watch the entire series in order? If there's any continuity to be had, I guarantee you will appreciate it so much more if you start from the beginning. I get it if you don't have any way to stream it or any access to DVD releases, and therefore you start watching it when it airs on TV, but I don't get why anyone would start watching a show in the middle, even if it is more episodic and doesn't have much continuity.

Anyone else getting like... a shit-ton of memes in their YouTube recommendations?

I like meme videos, but I don't tend to watch them a lot, so I'm quite baffled.
