I can't believe I am legitimately trying to decide if I should go to an event on Sunday with several fellow musicians where we get into groups and jam all night... or if I should stay in and watch the Golden Globes.

Look, we've been over this, I don't care how much people bag on awards shows, they're an absolute guilty pleasure of mine and I love watching them even when I don't know a single person who's nominated.

I mean... maybe I'll get the best of both worlds and they'll have the Golden Globes on TV at the bar where the jam session is taking place.

Random note I have to quickly jot down: "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" is a fucking phenomenal song, mostly because of the lyrics, and I'm so tempted to put it on every half-finished fanmix that I have in my head because it applies to so many of the kind of characters I love.
